Maine Lobster Bakes
We're chefs, we're foodies and we're picky about our seafood. Based on MDI, we enjoy a rare commodity with one of the most sustainable fisheries in the world in our backyard. We use our local fishing connections to source the day's best catch, plucked fresh from the waters surrounding the island and transported straight to our door each day by the fisher-men and -women who catch them.
Some call it a boil, a bake, or a shore dinner, whatever you call it, it's only the most delicious, authentic edible Maine treat, since, well, the blueberry!
We offer an lots of options, but folks around here like a good ol' fashioned lobster steamed in seawater, eaten straight from the shell, and preferably within eye shot of the ocean. It goes really well with fresh local sweet corn slathered in our cilantro lime butter or Mandy's famous blueberry pie.
